My name is Denis.
I practice Body-Oriented, Somatic therapy since 2016, and Family Systemic Constellations since 2017. I got certified in Canada as a facilitator of Family Constellations in 2019.
My Specialization
Stress and Trauma
Working with stress and trauma has been a focus of mine since I began practicing. The body holds a large part of who we are. Our experiences, fears, hopes, and memories are reflected in the states of our bodies. It is the body that determines how we feel. Contemporary approaches to trauma have one thing in common – they are increasingly body-centered.
Knowledge of Traditions
I find it meaningful to incorporate into my practice the languages of tradition, the ways in which healers and people in different cultures have dealt with emotional or physical difficulties. I have studied and practiced working with sound and voice, a great tool for regulating bodily states. I am studying the practice of Daan Van Campenhout’s Systemic Ritual: an approach that combines elements of traditional shamanic knowledge with the tools of Family Constellations. I often use the techniques of this line of work during group events.
Inner Resources
My particular area of interest is our inner resources. Since 2016, I have been creating and leading Internal Resources Management Programs. These are long-term courses that provide participants with the skills to become aware of and manage their own states and processes in a way that promotes resilience and inner well-being, even in situations that encourage the exact opposite.

Languages
English is the language I use most often in my work.
Russian is my native language. I lived in Russia prior to moving to Canada in 2016.
I speak Spanish. My ex-wife’s language is Spanish. For several years, Spanish was the language of my family. Meanwhile, with few exceptions, I rarely work in Spanish – my level is more conducive to everyday communication.
I also speak French. The proficiency is slightly above average, however I still hesitate to work in French. So far, I can see my limitations in the degree of flexibility, and accuracy.

Internal Resources Management Training Programs for industrial clients and for general audience. Author and Facilitator.
